bf6a323c27ba8e866532a9c3b20d71861. Could you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

I’m a Bodybuilder and a Computer Technician.  I was born and raised in Port au Prince, Haiti.  I came to the United States as a young kid with my family in persuit of a better life.  Since a very young age I was into working out and building muscles.  Growing up my parents wouldn’t allow me to exercise because they said I was too young.  I used to wait for them to go to sleep so I could do pushups and walk around the house curling chairs.  It wasn’t until I reached the age of 16 they allowed me to fully get involved into working out.

2. How long have you been training for?

About  12yrs..
3. How did you get started in training?

There’s no actual no real time frame of when I actually got started into training, ever since I could remember.  I’ve always wanted to start training. Basically the only thing stopping me was that I was too young.  As soon as I got the go ahead from my parents to start training I got a gym membership the next day with one of my friends who was already a member at the gym.

4. Who got you motivated to start training?

My first role model was Arnold after watching the movie Commando, I knew I wanted to be a bodybuilder.  Later on I was inspired by other bodybuilders such as:  Flex Wheeler, Shawn Ray, Dexter Jackson, Kevin Levrone and the legend Ronnie Coleman. Ronnie was my biggest inspiration because of his hard work, dedication and heavy lifting.   Because of my approach to bodybuilding I’ve always been compared to him which is the greatest compliment you can get as a bodybuilder.

5. What are your short and long term fitness goals?

My short term goal is to be the best pro that I can be.  My long term goal is to be Mr. Olympia  and maintain that title.

6. What workout routine has worked best for you?

My shoulder routine has worked best for me because I’ve been doing the same routine for so many years now and still find no need to change it.  I usually start with behind the neck press on the smith machine, move to machine military shoulder press facing forward, finish with upright row and 2 sets of dumbbell shrugs.

7. Could you outline your basic daily diet?

My daily diet is very simple, since I’m not a big eater I try to get in as much proteins as possible and then I try to get my carbs from white rice,  red potato and always extra virgin olive oil and avocado as my fats.

8. Do you use supplements? If so, what do you recommend?

I use King MassXL to make up for whatever meal that I couldn’t get in for the day. King mass is very high on protein and carbs and therefore is the best meal replacement for me. I also use Myo Blitz for my pre work out because it gets me ready for that brutal workout without leaving me with type of jittery.

9. Do you have post/pre-workout meals? What’s your favorite?

I use King Mass XL for both my pre and post workout.

10. How do you deal with things such as hunger and cravings?

Actually for me dealing with craving and hunger is very easy because I don’t crave much because of my lack of appetite. So whenver I feel it’s time for me to have another meal and my body is not ready for it, i’ll just have another serving of King Mass XL.

11. Do you have any cheat meals?

Yes I do have cheat meals but I don’t call them cheat meal I call them progress meals.. cheat meals to me is what people have when they can’t control their hunger. I only have them on the other hand just to get my body to the next level.

12. What is your biggest motivation to get you back in the gym?

The drive to be number one is what motivates me everyday to get in the gym and kill it.

13. If you could go back in time, what would you change in your training?

I would definitely warm up alot better to save my joint. That’s one big mistake that I made as a youngster.

14. Any advice for beginners or anyone looking to get back into fitness?

Be humble, be willing to learn from other people that has more experience then you and remember you don’t know everything.

15. What advice do you to anyone looking to lose weight in time for summer?

You have to allow yourself enough time for the goal that you have. You have to eat clean everyday, train and do cardio. Monitor your carbs and your fat intake base on how you’re looking because most of the time the little bit more or less of either one can make a big difference.

16. Anything else you’d like to add?

Always make reasonable goals and go after them. Find motivation within the end results to keep reaching for that goal. No goal will most likely be the end result of no motivation. Always have something to aim for.. so keep pushing hard and stay motivated.
