My Review
I was looking for a new protein to take which would help me with rugby, something that promotes recovery and lean muscle growth. Whilst doing my research I came across True Whey which I was impressed by. I really liked the fact that it had:
100 million spores of Lactospore® Pro-biotics per serving
50mg of Digezyme® digestive enzymes per serving
A high concentration of BCAAs.
I've tried:
Banana Cream
Chocolate Orange
Cookies and Cream
Milk Chocolate
Strawberry Delight
Toffee Fudge
Velvet Vanilla
And they all tasted GREAT! I couldn't pick a favourite.
I really liked how easy it was to mix, only a couple of seconds were needed! True Whey is also VERY rich in BCAA's which is something I really liked. However, the amount of protein per serving was a little lower than what I was used to.
Whilst using it I found that my recovery time continued to be very short, I also put on a bit of lean mass too which was noticeable.
Overall, I really enjoyed using it and would definitely recommend to someone playing a sport and looking for a good recovery time while managing to maintain and build lean mass!
