My Review
I was pandering around my room with a rumbly tummy (not unusual), until I realised that I had one of these kicking around and it was about time to try it - it had been sat there, wrapped and uneaten, for two days already!
I can honestly say this was one of the best packaged protein snacks I've ever tried. One big gripe I have with bars is that they're often far too small and insubstantial - this, however, was a hefty piece of chocolatey flapjack that left me completely satisfied. If someone had handed me this along with a Mars bar or some other baked treat, I still think I would have preferred this bar: it was sweet enough, satisfying, and at 22g protein and under 2g sugar, it's almost unbelievably guilt-free.
At £35.99 for 12 (RRP), your wallet would certainly be more happy for you to go for that Mars bar - but if you don't mind spending the money, they're definitely worth your time!
NB. Was not intending to make it sound like Wholly Oats bars are the prostitutes of the sports nutrition world - but they'll definitely satisfy you if you're willing to fork out.
