My Review
I had the pleasure of going through a 2.5kg bag of Myprotein's Instant Oats. I am a huge believer of the importance of a good breakfast and for the past 4 years or so have been making oats on a daily biases for breakfast. It wasn't until recently that I decided to try powdered forms.
Every morning I would take two heaped scoops (roughly 84g) and mix it with two scoops of whichever protein I had at the time and water. I had the unflavoured type which made it easier to tailor the flavour from day to day depending on what I wanted. This left the shaker more full than normal which made shaking it all together a little harder and more time consuming than normal. Normally it would be fine. The real problem I had was the fact that sometimes the oats would be in clumps, even in dry form which means that regardless of how hard I shake it, the these clumps wouldn't break. That would leave a power-y tasting clump that would show up from time to time during consumption. However, aside from the clumps, I really liked how finely it was blended and that it was made from real oats which would mix easily (on the whole).
So overall, a good instant oat shake which is easy to customise but will form clumps from time to time, so possibly explore other ways of mixing it, maybe a blender or a different shaker?
