My Review
I have used Garnell Nutrition High Performance Whey for over 6 weeks during a bulking phase. I had it every morning with breakfast and post-workout meaning that I was having 11 servings per week.
Firstly, it tasted great both with water and milk (skimmed and "full fat milk"). I had the chocolate flavoured one and it tasted just like a milkshake leaving a pleasant after-taste which I really liked. Mixing it was very easy, it only took a couple of seconds of shaking for it to be fully mixed. The consistency was smooth too which made it the more enjoyable.
I made some physical gains during the 6 week period, however, they weren't as much as I hoped. The biggest gains were for my lifting stats where I managed to beat several personal best scores. Something I am very proud about!
I found that my recovery time both on the rugby pitch and the weights room was dramatically short. I was feeling fresh and raring to go by the following morning.
Only thing that annoyed me was the fact that the BCAA's within were of very low concentrations, not enough to for any noticeable effects on 2 daily scoops.
Overall, great whey protein if you're looking for good old plain whey!
