My Review

I had quite high expectations for this product, as I've bought bottles of Multipower protein at the gym in the past which taste delicious and are absolutely brilliant post-workout shakes. However, having tried Formula 80 Evolution, if asked to recommend it, I can't say I would.
This is for several reasons. Firstly, though it's marketed as a post-workout shake it contains 63% caseinate protein; the slow-release protein won't be absorbed as quickly as you need after working out. The whey protein it does contain is whey concentrate, which is somewhat inferior to a whey protein isolate. Overall, the protein itself that the product contains is not suitable for a post-workout shake and you'd be better off to spend a little more money and find a higher quality whey protein.
There is also no amino acid profile blended into this product - instead, it contains a range of vitamins and minerals, but all of these ingredients can be found in daily multivitamins which you're probably taking anyway, or will get from a varied diet. The amino acids are crucial to your post-workout muscle recovery and overall muscle health, though, so you'd need to buy these separately and take them alongside this product if using it; save your money, buy a protein that contains the necessary BCAA and EAA profiles.
I might have given this product some credit if it tasted great or mixed well, because it might have been recommendable as an overnight protein given it's high casein content. However, this protein doesn't mix with milk or water at all well, producing a thick, 'globby' consistency. And it doesn't really taste very nice either. Thumbs down!
