My Review
I initially intended to find a reliable protein source that would help me reach my goal of >10% body fat for a professional photo-shoot. Attaining a toned face, ripped tabs and an overall low body fat.
I found my way to Myprotein’s - Impact Whey isolate. They talk about it having very low fat and carb content in comparison to generic whey protein supplements WHICH is very true.
I have been using impact whey for 3 months now and it’s absolutely awesome. Within a week I saw a substantial increase in tone throughout my body. Most of all my abs and chest. Another positive of the supplement is that it improves recovery time nicely. These results didn’t come for free, Impact whey is £5- £10 more expensive than normal whey protein.
However don’t be fooled in to thinking the supplement alone will get you ripped. It only helps you gain good muscle with minimal fat- REAL LEAN MUSCLE. This supplement must be combined with a strict lower carb diet and a heavy and sweaty gym routine if you want ripped results.
Furthermore it also makes sense to get the unflavoured version as any flavour will interrupted the low carb and low fat content.

[…] The first thing with regards to supplements I’d like to address is your source of protein. Have you ever heard of whey isolate? Other companies might refer to it as “diet” whey. With this form of protein, all the excess calories from carbohydrates and fat have been removed. The removal process is usually quite lengthy and expensive which explains why this type of protein is usually a bit more expensive. A protein serving is usually around 90-95% protein. Avoid ones which have sugar within them. My personal favourites are Maximuscle’s Promax Extreme (Reviewed here) and Myprotein whey isolate (Reviewed here). […]
