My Review
I was able to use Optimum Nutrition's Lean Whey for a 6 week period and I was very happy with the results I experienced.
First of all, both the strawberry and the chocolate are very delicious. The flavours do stand out with distinct sweet undertones, which makes it refreshing every time it's had. Especially if it's served cold.
When mixing, the powder disappears almost instantaneously when mixed with 150ml of cold water, leaving no lumps or powdery taste.
Finally, and most importantly, the results. During the 6 week period I kept my diet, exercise regime and supplement stack constant. I was taking two servings of Optimum Nutrition's Lean Whey, one for breakfast and the second post-workout. During that period, I gained 3kg of weight and my body fat percentage dropped by 2% which is suggestive of a net lean mass gain, as advertised by Optimum Nutrition. I also noticed that my recovery time has dropped to a mere day meaning that my body is practically fully recovered!
Overall, Optimum Nutrition's Lean Whey is a great whey to use when cutting or considering lean mass gains.
