My Review
This was third time I went through a serious bulking phase. I planned to use Pharmafreak's Mass Freak having read about it. I used it as part of a Pharmafreak stack for 6 weeks. My diet stayed the same and my training regime was kept constant, focusing on lifting as heavy as I can to for three sets of eight. Training and diet were consistent for the six week duration.
In terms of results, I noticed that: My weight has increased by 5%, my arm circumference has increased by 4%, my chest circumference has increased by 3%, my waist has decreased by 3% and my legs by 6%. I was very pleased and satisfied with these physical gains.
With Mass Freak I've only tried the chocolate flavoured and I really enjoyed it. With this supplement I was taking two scoops every morning and two in the evening before I head off to bed. I felt that its the most optimum way of taking it in order to give my body as much time to absorb it as possible. In order to take full advantage of Mass Freak, I opt-ed to use it with full fat milk rather than water or semi-skimmed. I feel that the price of it is very good in comparison to other weight gainers out there but also in the sense of how effective it is too.
The only real downside was the fact that it took a couple of weeks to start to notice my weight increase. However, I attribute that to the nature of the supplement itself, being a weight gainer which is standard for them.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to put on some weight.
